Week 14: Melborough v Portdean (Saturday, k-o 3pm)

Boro face Portdean this weekend in high spirits after topping the table last week with a 3-0 stuffing of Burndean at Anglia Road.
Lee Bryden had a mixed afternoon by scoring the opening goal, but then after becoming frustrated at Burndean's physical approach, he reacted badly and found himself sent-off to leave the side to fight on with ten men.
Thankfully the defence performed magnificently and striker Jackie Peer rattled in his sixth and seventh goals of the season to win a tough contest by a convincing margin.
Dave Hendrie steps into the midfield to replace Bryden while he serves his three-match suspension and Portdean should certainly prove to be difficult opposition, despite their perilous position in the A-League table.
